Second Chance
Our county opened a beautiful new library with a nice kid's area a few months ago in a nearby town. I had envisioned weekly trips with the kids. Unfortunately for me, they placed a computer at child height with a Dora cartoon. I happen to be mother to an intense 2 year old Dora fan. Every time I have gone, I have had to carry my child out screaming because she wanted to be on the Dora computer the whole time. After this week's failed attempt (did I mention my 4 year old tripped over her crying sister and hit a chair thus also having to be carried out screaming,) I offered my little girls the chance to redeem themselves at the TINY branch library in my little town. They were great, and people commented how sweet they were. We will be going there until Sydney's love of Dora subsides...

Leaves
The leaves on our lone pathetically small tree recently turned from green to brown. The kids couldn't be happier. Seth shakes the tree while Morgan and Sydney gather the handful of leaves :-)
