Evening at the Fair

We spent this evening at the fair. Lydia won the coloring contest for her age bracket. Her picture is to the right of her head with the dark blue background. The kids had a great time on the rides. One of Lydia's best friends was also there so she joined the kids on the rides.

Sydney is 10 Months Old

Sydney turned 10 months old yesterday. She is constantly entertained by her siblings. Mom came out this evening and found Seth upside down. She asked Seth what he was doing, and he said he was trying to make Sydney laugh. The kids all like to play with her.

Night At Chuck-E-Cheese

Last night we took Morgan and Seth for their birthday dinner at Chuck-E-Cheese. We forgot the camera and used the cell phone camera. The kids (even Sydney) loved it.

She looks cute, but she picked two of them at the most....

We went to a local strawberry farm this morning to pick strawberries. Morgan quickly decided that she was too tired and hot to pick any. She enjoyed posing with the final product, but she spent most of her time in the air conditioned van watching Lydia and Seth (mostly Lydia) work.

She's one of the kids now too....

In recent weeks Sydney has gone from being an observer of the other kids to being in the middle of whatever they are doing. In a moment of parenting stupidity, Mom and Dad bought Morgan a mystery purple substance (resembles sand but different texture) for the sand table for her birthday. It sticks to kids and clothing like glue. Sydney enjoyed playing in it with the other kids.

Check-up Day

Morgan and Sydney had their check-ups today. Both went well. Morgan is 38 inches tall and 30 pounds. This puts her at 44% for weight and 64% for height. Sydney is 19 pounds 9 ounces and 29.25 inches long. This puts her at 43% for weight and 80% for height.

Strawberry Day at Cooking School

Lydia went to a cooking class today to learn how to make strawberry shortcake, freezer jam, and chocolate dipped strawberries.

3 Years Old With New Wheels For Her Birthday....

now she just has to learn how to pedal.... Mom and Dad thought she would be able to ride her new bike since she rides a tricycle, but she got off to a rough start. She got on the bike, tried to pedal, didn't go anywhere, and ran away to play with bubbles.

Vacation Day 8- Morning in Smokey Mountains/ Evening Doing Go-Karts and Kiddy Rides

Vacation Day 7- Lots of Swimming/ Playground/ Picnic Dinner/ Birthday Presents

Grandpa came to visit today. We spent the day at the place where we are staying. We had a fun cookout/picnic with Grandpa this evening. Morgan ate 2 hotdogs and part of a hamburger which may be the most she's ever eaten :-) Throughout the day the kids did the playground and pool. Seth and Morgan opened some of their birthday presents. You can see Sydney in the bottom picture eyeing Morgan's present.

While Mom and the Kids Have Been Vacationing...

Dad built a Pergola to go over the back patio. He's been working on it all week. It turned out nice!

Vacation Day 6- Log Cabin Pancake House Breakfast/ Morning at Great Smokey Mountain National Park/ Afternoon of Mario Kart/ Evening at Pool

We had another fun and busy day today. We had breakfast at a pancake house. Lydia loved her blueberry pancakes. We then spent the morning in the mountains. We left when it started raining. Uncle Michael gave Seth Mario Kart with steering wheels for the Wii for his birthday. Michael also brought his Wii and set everything up. Lydia and Seth spent the afternoon playing the Wii. We then went to the pool for the evening.
