Growing Beans and Peas

Aunt Carol and Uncle Bruce gave Lydia this kit for Christmas for growing beans and peas indoors. She's been working on it for a while. She's hoping to have LOTS of people over to eat beans and peas when she's finished :-)

Cocoa Beach

We spent our last day of vacation at the beach. The kids enjoyed watching Uncle Bryan surf. They also played in the sand and collected shells. Morgan wasn't too thrilled with her first experience with ocean water and sand.

Day at Silver Springs

We spent a day at beautiful Silver Springs with Grandpa. Lydia loved feeding the giraffes. She said she was going to start saving her allowance now for giraffe food if she ever goes back. We rode the famous glass bottom boats. The kids also enjoyed the small boat ride and the animal shows.

Braves Spring Training Game

The Braves have their spring training at Disney. The big kids went with Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, and Uncle Bryan to a game.

Day at Disney

Seth loved driving race cars with Uncle Bryan and the Pooh ride. Lydia loved seeing the princesses, riding the teacups, and riding the Dumbo ride. Morgan just enjoyed being outside in the nice weather.

Breakfast With Pooh and Friends at Disney

We did a "Pooh and Friends" character breakfast at Disney at the Crystal Palace. The character meals are a great way to get to see the characters up close. We had breakfast, and Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore came by our table and signed autographs/ took pictures. Seth loved seeing them all, but Piglet was his favorite. Tigger tickled Morgan and played with her, and he was her favorite.

9 Months Old Today... I'm Going to Disneyworld!!

Guess what??? Mom and Dad are taking me to Disneyworld for my 9 month birthday! Here I am trying on big sister's mouse ears. Nana sent me some money to buy my own baby mouse ears on the trip. Ok, I have to confess, maybe they were planning to go anyway, but I can believe it's just for me. We leave on the plane tomorrow. I hear if I scream a lot, I get my first taste of a sucker. We'll see how it goes.

I'm nine months old today. I'm 28 inches long and a little over 16 pounds. I can stand for a few seconds without help now. I'm a fast crawler.

Naptime Rescue Operation

It's tough to get Morgan to sleep when Seth sneaks away and climbs in her playpen with her where she naps. She loves it though.

Horton Hears a Who

This Friday Lydia's class is going to a local movie theater to see "Horton Hears a Who." She couldn't be more excited. Today the kids made Horton ears in preparation for the big day. (Notice she has another missing tooth in the front. She just lost it.)

I needed a bib...

I love to eat nutri-grain cereal bars for a snack or breakfast. However, the clean-up isn't so fun.

Puzzles

Seth tends to find something he likes and do it over and over again. He's into puzzles right now. We got him this animal puzzle for Valentine's Day, and he does it multiple times every day. We have an idea what the Easter Bunny may be thinking this year.

Our Vote for Best Movie Ever

Morgan has a cold which has made her extremely fussy. This pretty much stops everything because she wants to be held all the time while she's sick. She's normally happy playing on her own for awhile. Lydia tried stepping in this afternoon when Jenny wanted to take a shower, but Morgan wouldn't stop crying.
We then pulled out the best movie ever. Morgan happily watched the full 18 minutes of her Baby Einstein movie. It's amazing what that movie can do to an unhappy child (and mother, father, brother, sister....)

The Purse

Lydia carries her purse full of treasures almost everywhere she goes. She was taking it with her today to get the mail.
