After a day of morning swim lessons, an hour at the fair in 93 degree heat, an afternoon at the pool, the library, and a ballgame for Lydia/ playground for Seth and Morgan, the kids were covered with dirt, popsicle, sweat, chlorine, and sand this evening... they had a bath shortly after this picture and went to bed. Mom will be going to bed shortly after... We have another busy day tomorrow...

2 and 4 Year-Old Peer Pressure
G-Ma sent Seth and Morgan each $10 for their birthdays. Mom took them to Walmart this afternoon for the big shopping trip. Mom thought it was funny what they chose. Seth chose a flat ball that turns into a round ball when you throw it. He chose blue. It happens to be just like the blue flat ball that his buddy next door has. Morgan chose a baby doll and a Dora swim suit. The Dora swim suit looks a lot like the one her friend Emily wore when she was at our house last weekend. Morgan had originally chosen two babies, but when we were in the baby section, she saw the swim suit and was happy to give up a baby for it.

Accessorizing
Seth's Fourth Birthday Party
Seth celebrated his fourth birthday with friends today. Joseph, Isaac, Alex, Emily, Jeremy, Lexi, and their parents visited for the afternoon. We had a hotdog/hamburger lunch, sports cupcakes and ice cream, played on Seth's bouncer, enjoyed the slip-n-slide, and played on the playset. Seth had a great day.

I have wheels!
I need my Dad now!
Uncle Bryan and Sasha sent me this cool Barbie tricycle for my upcoming birthday. I saw the delivery man carrying it up the driveway and got really excited. Mom decided to go ahead and give it to me since I saw it and knew what it was. However, when she opened the box, she realized she was in way over her head. Who knew how many pieces make up a Barbie tricycle. She thought she could follow the instructions, but she never was able to get past step 2. I'm now waiting for Dad to get home.
