Cleveland Zoo

We enjoy using our zoo membership to go to zoos in different cities. Today we went to the Cleveland zoo for the first time today with Grandma and Grandpa. Lydia and Seth got to ride on a camel with grandma. We also saw an animal show. We explored part of the zoo, but we only saw a small segment of it before the kids were ready to drop and needed a nap. We'll have to go again another day.

My Bike

Bikes are the big thing around our house lately. Big sister is now riding great without training wheels. I hear rumor that mom and dad are going to get her a bigger one soon that fits her better and has a kickstand. Big brother just got a new Spiderman bike since he had also outgrown his old one. Tonight big sister pulled out this little bike for me. I'm still too small to ride it by myself, but I had fun playing with it. Mom even got a picture of my first bike crash.

Seth's Birthday Plans and Wishes

Seth is eagerly anticipating his and Morgan's upcoming birthdays. He has it all planned. He wants a cake that looks like an alligator, and he originally wanted us to make Morgan a cake that looks like a donkey. However, after some suggestions from the rest of the family, he has decided that Morgan should probably have a pink cake instead of a donkey cake. He decided it can be plain pink or have a princess on it.

He really wants one present- a jack-in-the box. That's all he talks about. (Uncle Michael and Dessa are picking one out.... big pressure :-)) He also wants a bell for his bike which Lydia is getting him. He thinks Morgan would probably like a princess toy. Mom and Dad are going to have to come up with ideas on their own because Seth can't think of anything else but the jack-in-the-box.

They will have 2 parties this year. Nana's bringing an alligator cake and a cake for Morgan to Gatliburg to have a party with the kids and Uncle Michael and Dessa. We're also going to have a party at home. Mom and Dad need parties after surviving our year of a baby and two-year-old and to prepare for our year with a one and three-year-old :-)

I'm Walking!!

I took my first steps this evening. Mom couldn't get me walking on camera, but these are pictures of big sister and big brother helping me learn. I only took one step a couple different times, but it won't be long now before I'm walking everywhere.


(Just in case Nana or Grandma zoom in on the last picture and are concerned that big brother has some type of major injury because of the black and blue marks on his face, don't worry. He had just finished water coloring, and all of his colors turn black. He had rubbed paint all over his head and arms.)
