Making a Pie

We started with a pie pumpkin...

Jenny and Lydia spent countless hours scraping, mixing, cooking, and baking.... not to mention spending a small fortune on ingredients, creating a disastrous mess, and burning Jenny's foot with hot pumpkin... Seth decided early in the process that pumpkin is to "gooey" to touch or eat.
And we ended up with two delicious pies... Seth's response was to ask, "How about some Lucky Charms?"

Notice anything missing???

She couldn't be any happier. The tooth fairy will be coming tonight, and she gets to bring the tooth fairy bag home from kindergarten tomorrow.

Busy Bees

The kids take a class for an hour a week called, "Busy Bees." They get to listen to stories, make crafts, and do activities such as throwing balls and jumping on mini trampolines.

Morgan's Toy

Check out the new toy for my carseat. It's an aquarium, plays classical music, has fun beads and fish for Seth to grab, and seems to always bump my head when I come out of my carseat.

"T" is for Truck

This morning was "T" day at storytime at the local library. The librarian had a friend bring in a big truck for the kids to climb through after the stories. Seth loved it.

Kindergarten Open House

Lydia and her friends spend their recess hanging upside down. She have us a demonstration.

Weekend at a State Park on Lake Erie

We stayed in the camper cabin above left. We also set-up the tent, but we never slept in it. The kids enjoyed playing in it.

We covered Morgan's carseat in netting to protect her from the bugs.
