Kalahari- Day 1

We arrived at Kalahari yesterday for a short vacation. It's a resort/huge indoor waterpark. We spent today alternating between the waterpark and the toddler play area. Attached are pics of Seth in the play area and looking at a real baby tiger. Tomorrow we'll post some waterpark pictures.

Birthday Bubbles

Lydia had her preschool birthday party today since she was on Christmas Break on her Birthday. Her teachers gave her a bag of goodies which included bubbles. She had fun blowing the bubbles when she got home.

Happy 30th Birthday Stephen- Welcome Princess Kitty

Today's post was going to be a picture of Stephen celebrating his 30th birthday. However, he has a stomach virus and isn't in the mood for pictures. Lydia went to go to Build-a-Bear today with her gift certificate from Santa and made Princess Kitty. Therefore, Princess Kitty is in the picture and Stephen will be as soon as he is feeling like celebrating his birthday.

Tonight we went to Chuck E. Cheese's with friends Jason and Alex for a late birthday dinner for Lydia.

Christmas Morning

Santa Claus brought lots of gifts for Lydia and Seth. Lydia's favorites were a baby doll, baby clothes, a gift certificate to go to build-a-bear, and a doctor set. Seth's favorites were a golf set, a music set, an Elmo ball, and a Barney doll.

COOKIES FOR SANTA

Lydia carefully planned a snack of cookies and a candy cane for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Seth could not understand why she would put cookies on a plate and show him but not let him eat any.

GIFT FOR MOM

Lydia painted me a piggy bank for Christmas. She even gave me one of her dollars to put in it.

Gifts from Nana and Papa

Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Bryan

Grandma redecorated the dollhouse that she had when she was Lydia's age and gave it to Lydia for Christmas along with new dollhouse furniture.

Seth loved his new truck full of blocks!

What a beautiful princess!

We went on a carriage ride through a local parks lights display this evening. We forgot the camera, but it was a lot of fun.
